A Heartfelt Community Spotlight: Imran Nasir

As the wedding season begins this June 2026, our community is filled with excitement, preparation, and countless moments that reveal the true character of the people around us. Today, we proudly highlight someone who continues to inspire through both his success and his humility: Imran Nasir.

Imran is widely known as a successful entrepreneur and the owner of Strings Attached — a premier destination for racket sports enthusiasts. With two thriving locations, one serving the Arlington Heights community and another near Southport and Fullerton in Chicago, Imran has built a brand rooted in passion, quality, and dedication. Beyond business, he is also an avid squash player who genuinely lives the sports lifestyle he promotes.

But those who know Imran personally understand that his greatest strength isn’t his business success — it’s his humility, kindness, and devotion to family. Supported by his wonderful wife, Amna, and their two children, Aleena and Salam, Imran consistently shows what it means to lead with heart.

This week, while preparing for his niece Maami’s upcoming wedding — Maham being one of our community’s healthcare heroes who serves tirelessly at both Skokie Hospital and the UIC Emergency Department — Imran demonstrated a beautiful example of family commitment. Instead of hiring a crew, he personally spent the day cleaning and painting the roof a bright, refreshing white.

A man of his stature could have easily delegated the work, yet he chose to do it himself. That simple act spoke louder than words.

It was a moment that inspired everyone present — a reminder that no matter how high we rise professionally, staying grounded, humble, and willing to serve our loved ones is the greatest achievement of all.

Thank you, Imran, for being a shining example of hard work, family values, and true community spirit.
